Meet Lillian

Hiya, my name is Lillian! Foster mom has told me so much about you!

Just kidding, she didn’t. How could she? That would be creeeepy. And while she’s not the least creepy person I’ve ever met, she’s definitely not THAT creepy. I think.

How did I end up at Not Totally Creepy Foster Mom’s house? Well, that’s a good question. I think the things humans call “cat carriers” are actually teleportation devices. Once second, I was running around a mobile home without a care in the world. The next, I ended up in Maybe Sometimes Creepy Foster Mom’s closet. The big kind of closet though. Basically just a glorified cat room with some clothes hanging around.

In the closet, I was forced to....ugh, I can’t even say it. I was forced to....live with other kittens younger than me!! The horror! Actually, it was pretty fun. I would bat them around and they’d be like “Lillian, I’m still learning how to walk, c’mon!” And I’d be like “sucks to suck.” Then I’d bat them around some more. We were such great friends.

Their mom was NOT nice though. She had murder eyes. Luckily Mostly Not Creepy Foster Mom agreed, because she got murder mom spayed and then released her back at her cat colony. Not so luckily, then her kittens decided I was their mom now. Sigh. Motherhood (even fake motherhood) is hard.

Now I’m an empty nester. By empty nester, I mean that I live with a bunch of other foster kittens and some dogs. But none of them think I’m their mom! Upgrade!

I’m not going to lie, I can be a little nervous at first. Meeting new people is kind of scary. But Only A Little Creepy Foster Mom knows how to soothe my fears. She calls out “Lillian” and I know that it’s scritchin’ time. She tells me I’m super cute and that my fur is soft like velvet. Her words, not mine...but I don’t disagree...

Anyways, even though I’m sometimes a bit timid, don’t judge a book by her cover! It takes all of 5 minutes for me to realize we’re going to be best friends. I’m really a giant sweetheart and snugglebug. In fact, I’m snuggled up in Not Creepy At All Foster Mom’s arms as she’s transcribing this. Ope, not anymore...now I’m chasing one of my foster sibs across the room. Work hard, play hard, am I right?

What foster mom has to say about me: "Lillian is SUCH a sweet kitten. She's actually the perfect combination of snuggly and playful. She likes to cuddle up next to us or in our arms, but not right on our faces so we suffocate (ahem...not naming any names but SOME foster kittens think attempted murder is okay). When it's nap o'clock, she's napping. But when you whip out the string feather toy, it is definitely play time. She'd chase that thing around for hours. It's so cute! Lillian has such a unique little face with big eyes. She's like a doll. She can be shy at first when meeting new people, but it really takes her like three seconds to warm up. Once you give her some butt scratches, she's your best friend. She does great with all of our cats and dogs. I think she'd be a little nervous around some rambunctious small children, but any calm-ish household with older kids would be just fine with her. Don't miss out on this pretty little lady!"

Lillian's adoption fee is $150 (or $250 if adopting a pair), which helps our rescue cover the cost of her spay, microchip, FeLV/FIV test (she is negative), vaccines, dewormings, and flea treatments.
