Lieutenant Dan and the rest of his Gump friends came to us as a bonded group from Washington. Lt. Dan is about 10 months old and is the most playful of the Gump quartet even though he is shy. He likes to explore and climb on cat trees. He would need to be adopted with one of his Gump friends or go to a home with other friendly cats. His adoption fee is $75.

Dan is currently available for adoption at our Redmond store. Each store has cats for adoption, but Redmond's adoption kennels are permanent, meaning that we never need to foster out those cats, and they get to peaceably live at our Café until a family takes them home. When a cat has been on site at Kirkland for over 2 months, they get put on a transfer list for Redmond as soon as a spot opens up. Cats over 12 years are preferentially hosted at Redmond due to the permanent situation of the kennels there.

All of our adoptable cats, regardless of home shelter, will have the following before they are released for adoption: Spay/neuter, microchip, current vaccines, FeLV test (depending on the level of risk, some cats may also receive the FIV test), flea-free, worm treatment, ringworm treatment, and recent vet visit.
