Meet Liam
Say hello to Liam. This 4 year old gent has been with us learning to love since January. After being trapped and brought in off the streets, Liam was not a fan of people. He didn't really want people touching his stuff, or him. However, he was a sucker for food and treats, so overtime a team of volunteers was able to gain his trust and he settled into his new indoor routine. Now Liam is much calmer than he was, although he can still swat on occasion. Food will still be the way to his heart, in addition to playtime. He loves to play and "hunt" wand toys, which will be a great way to begin interacting with him in his new home. Liam is going to need a cat savvy home, with someone who has worked with under socialized cats before. He will also need another cat in the home, as he will need the companionship and someone to show him the ropes in his new house. No other cat? Ask to meet Havarti when you’re in. Havarti and Liam have been the best of friends here at the shelter and would love to find a home together. No kids or dogs though, please.
If you want to be the one to give Liam a chance at a new life, email felines@manchesteranimalshelter.org to schedule an appointment to meet Liam with one of our team members who know Liam best, or stop by to meet him on Saturday or Sunday 12-3pm.
