Meet Leonard - Not Currently Accepting New Applications (Waitlist Only)
Leonard is a super friendly cat looking for his forever home!
Leonard wants to be friends with everyone and is very good at approaching in a friendly way. He would be great with all ages, from preschool to grandparents. We haven't seen him with dogs, but nothing much bothers Leonard.
Leonard is a love bug. He settles in quickly and adjusts to his human companions and their funny rules (such as stay off the table and stop walking on the plants). He is relaxed about being picked up and cuddled.
He loves belly rubs and back scratches. He always wants someone nearby and occasional hugs and pets.
Leonard's favorite hobby is napping, preferably with a human or cat nearby. He does enjoy playing - with cat toys or with food dispensing toys! He quickly figures out how to roll or shake or adjust the feeder to let out a treat. He also loves the "flopping fish" toy (it fights back) and tugs. Leonard gets "active" twice a day for about 30 minutes each time and then settles down to rest in the comfiest spots he can find. He loves to play but does need someone to remind him it is not always napping time.
Leonard lives with one other cat and 3 adult humans in a split-level house. He shifts naps between different areas of the house to be with different humans. Leonard would love to be in a house or apartment with a cat that would share nap time and toys. He does want to be with people; he would not be happy being home alone for long periods of time. He would prefer someone willing to play twice a day and open to giving cuddles as often as possible.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
