Lenore is available for contactless adoption by appointment only from MEOW Cat Rescue. To apply to adopt them, please go to http://meowcatrescue.org/adopt/applications/index.html, complete the adoption application form, and email it to adopt@meowcatrescue.org with their name in the Subject line.

If you are living in a place you do not own, you will need to provide proof of permission to own cats from your landlord or apartment complex. Please proactively provide this information at the time of, or shortly after, submitting your application to expedite the adoption process. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Lenore is an energetic kitten full of spunk and life. She greets you with a sweet little meow and communicates with her short, high pitched chirp when she is excited or wants snuggles or food. Other than her few chirps, she isn't very vocal unless she is separated from you. Lenore thrives on human attention and gets very sad if she can't access the room you're in. If she has access to you, she is quiet and likes to check in with you from time to time, or to settle on or near you for a nap. She has the most inquisitive, cute, little face and will often walk right up to you to "boop" you with her nose as a way of saying hello. While she is full of energy and is enthusiastic about playtime, Lenore still appreciates a warm lap to nap in and recharge. When she is sleepy, she loves to lay with you and will snooze for hours snuggled up with you. Lenore is such a good girl and will make her forever family very happy with her easy, laid back personality. Someone will truly adore sweet Lenore!

Because Lenore is under 6 months she will need to live with another young playful cat or kitten in order to have a companion to interact with on demand and learn appropriate cat manners and play behavior.

For the safety of very young children and small kittens, we will only place kittens under 6 months of age into homes with children 6 years or older. If you have children under the age of 6, please consider adopting a teenage kitten (6 months or older) or an adult.
