LENI and MOJI are a resilient all-black 9-month old sibling pair rescued from the Holiday Farm fire. Moji is a strong female who looks big in comparison to her petite brother Leni. When these two champions arrived in foster they were traumatized and fighting sickness from the ash of the wildfires. Over time and with loving attention from their fosters, they have become more comfortable and trusting of their human friends. Despite their history, however, they are still bouncy kittens and spend hours chasing string toys, mice, bells, and whatever else is on hand. Once they are tired out, they appreciate nice calm pets and gentle head scratches. They are hesitant about being picked up, and while they are easily affectionate they quickly take shelter from loud sounds and fast movements. Incorporating these two beautiful creatures into your home will take patience but will be rewarding for the right people. They are loving and strong, and the worst times of their life are definitely behind them. Because these little ones have been through a lot together, they rely on each other for comfort and happiness; thus, they must be adopted together. A commitment to the happiness and care of these two darlings would be worth your effort.

NOTE: Leni has tested positive for FIV (the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he is a healthy kitty and will likely have a normal lifespan as an indoor-only cat. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound. Since Leni and Moji were raised together and Moji has tested negative for FIV, it is quite possible that Leni's immune system will delete the virus by the time he is 1 to 2 yrs old.

They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (Moji is FIV negative, Leni is FIV positive), altered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners.
