Lasher's Story

Lasher is one of the four "vampire boys" (not because they bite!) that were taken in as babies and fixed through a rescue group for feral cats. When the owner went to put them back, he realized it was not a safe environment as the mom had already been killed by a coyote so he kept him and his brothers in a cage together for over a month. Unfortunately, he did not handle them very much and so it has taken a while for them to learn that they are supposed to be sitting on someone's lap. But give him a few days and he will be purring and loving all of your love. He is comforted with his brother Merrick, who have been in foster care together more recently. It would be great if they could go together (since they spent so much time together already) But he would also do OK in a house with other cats and is OK with small dogs.
