Meet Lark
Lark is a sweet, gentle, and calm 6-year-old cat looking for a quiet and loving home. She is an absolute sweetheart, but like most kitties, will need time to warm up to new environments and new people. Lark has made swift progress in building confidence since she came into foster care—she loves to cuddle, be brushed, and is starting to show her goofy side too! She likes to roll around and have her belly rubbed.
In her foster home, Lark has been pretty low-key and more interested in love and affection than toys. She likes to spend time curled up on her foster human's lap. She sometimes likes to cautiously explore new parts of the home. She has proven to be easygoing and low-maintenance, and is happy to be by your side or not.
Lark eats a prescription diet which she will need to continue in her forever home to keep her happy, healthy, and regular. She is taking fluoxetine right now, but once she settles into her forever home, this medication can very likely be stopped.
Lark currently lives in a home with one resident human. Her ideal home would be quiet and predictable—she does not do well with loud noises or chaos. Other than that, she seems quite adaptable. She may do well with another easygoing cat, as she previously lived her entire life with her littermate. There is no doubt Lark will prove to be an exceptionally loving and fulfilling companion!
