Meet Lana
Hi I'm Lana. I'm seriously ready to be adopted. I am an experienced house cat. I LOVE people. I'm not fond of other cats, so I need to be your only feline. I was left behind and this is my 3rd shelter. I was at a city shelter for a short period of time and then the next shelter I was at closed. As nice as it is here, I am so looking forward to being in my own place where I don't have to share my people and see cats all around me. I am mostly a couch potato, so pop that popcorn and let's find a good series to binge watch! I can be a bit sassy at times too. If you think we'd connect, stop by to meet me!
Lana is about 3 years old and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets.
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites.
We do adoptions by appointment only. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your visit. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day.
Applications can be found here: http://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/
We have Open Hours on Mondays and Fridays from 10am – 1pm, Saturdays from 10am - 4pm or Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. People can stop by without an appointment. Please note we do not do same day adoptions.
Visit us online at www.schuylerhumane.org for additional information, an adoption application, to see more adoptable dogs and cats or for directions to our shelter.
