Lady Jane has blossomed into a wonderful family cat. Her maturity shines, but she still has a playful, kitten-like spirit. Recently, we had family visiting for a few weeks, including young children (ages 2 , 4, and 8), and Jane was a dream with them. She showed incredible patience and affection, sitting with the kids during TV time, purring away as she joined them in watching. She also played enthusiastically, running alongside them throughout the house, proving she still has plenty of youthful energy.

What truly melted our hearts was Jane's bedtime routine. She would cuddle up next to the children, sometimes snuggling under the covers, and offer sweet kisses and face rubs. She'd knead her little "invisible bread dough" as she drifted off to sleep. When the kids left, it was heartbreaking to see her search for them; she seemed a bit lost without their company.

Jane does well with other cats in our home and has adjusted beautifully. She's gained a bit of weight and is now a healthy 11-12 pounds. As for dogs, she would thrive in a home with a calm, relaxed dog of any size. While she doesn't appreciate sudden movements or overly energetic canine play, she handled an adoption event with multiple dogs admirably. Sitting calmly in my arms, she wasn't fazed by barking or the presence of dogs and didn't once grip with her nails, staying composed throughout.

Jane is an ideal companion for a family with children. She bonds quickly with kids and would be a wonderful childhood friend for them to grow up with. Whether she's the only cat in a loving home with children or joins a family with other feline friends, Jane would thrive. She's truly a gem, ready to bring love and joy wherever she goes.
