Meet Lady Doe
1-2 year old Lady Doe was found sitting on the sidewalk in Washington Heights, likely after being put out of her previous home. A good samaritan couldn't tell if she was friendly, she was so terrified, so left a cardboard box for her to hide in. When Lady Doe was still petrified in that box over 12 hours later, we knew she needed to be rescued!
At first, this beautiful girl was so scared and hissy we could hardly touch her. The opposite could not be more true today!! Lady Doe is VERY affectionate and loving, absolutely loves pets, scratches, and nuzzles. She is a bed/ couch cat, and loves to lay near or on you as you work or study from home. She's an engaged companion, always curious as to what you are up to, but can also entertain herself when you are out of the house. She loves kittens and would be a good big sister to a younger cat.
