Kraus's Story

Hi, Im Kraus!
A lady had a cat that was not fixed, the cat got out, came back pregnant, and then shortly afterwards, we and my siblings arrived. (Please spay & neuter!) The family kept us for almost 6 months & then dumped us when the woman got a boyfriend who was allergic to us. Thankfully another kind human saw our situation, scooped us up, & took us to a rescuer.

I’m happy to get love from anybody and everybody. I make friends easily with people, cats, and calm dogs. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, well that’s one of my best offerings. I purr a LOT! I love to play and would do best in a home where I can stay with my brother Franke. We are best friends and do everything together! And two is always better than one, we play and snuggle together and it keeps us from getting bored and getting into things we shouldnt.

All cats and kittens are vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies if old and large enough for their vaccinations. All cats are neuter or spayed before final adoption date. All cats are also microchipped!

Our adoption process:
1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.

** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **

We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
