Kosher is a laid-back 2-year-old guy looking for his forever home!
This cute little black bear cub is as chill as they come, happy to relax at your feet to be petted and brushed. He’s a friendly lap cat who loves attention, ready to be spoiled while you read, work, or watch tv together. Kosher has the cutest little trill meow, its so calming and sweet. He is happy to please - and will find the oddest places to sleep.

Kosher is a very social kitty. If you have guests over, expect Kosher to be the first to greet them with rubbing against their legs and some gentle head butts (his way of asking for pets & head scratches). His easygoing personality makes him a great fit for a home with other cats, as he is very social and gets along with all the feline friends in his foster home. While Kosher is not in a foster home with kids, but he has met many who come to visit and he just loves the attention. He hasn't been fully exposed to dogs, but did see one thru the door and while seemed a little unsure, didn't run and even laid on the inside of the door looking out at the dog on the other side.

He’s content to keep you company, check out the neighborhood through the windows, and bat around a catnip toy while you tell him what a good boy he is (he knows, of course, but never tires of hearing it).

Kosher is FIV+, but that doesn’t mean he can’t live a long, normal, and healthy life—cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, other cats are able to live with FIV+ cats in stable social environments. You can read more about FIV here:

Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
