Kome Domestic Short Hair Parkville, MO

Hi! My name is Kome. I was found in the Lake WauKOMis (get it?) area by a nice lady who contacted the shelter I’m currently staying at. The shelter is full of even MORE nice ladies (and gentlemen)! But while I like the people here, l would really like to find a forever home to call my own, without other cats, please. I’m a big boy, probably because I’m filled with so much love. I love all people, including kids – the shelter recently had an activity with children, and I got to be a part of it!

Kome had been stressed from being in the shelter for such a long time (one year on June 20th). He recently got a little break and hung out at a temporary foster home. This is what the nice woman who cared for him had to say:
Kome is a VERY loving and cuddly cat. He can almost be aggressively loving when he throws himself into your hand while being petted. In my apartment, he could be found looking out the window, laying next to me on the couch, or laying on the floor looking at me. He will always be by your side, especially if you get up to do something. He is so excited when I get home from work. He loves to make biscuits and use the scratching post to get his excitement out. And for some reason, he usually has his tongue sticking out! He is sooo sweet and just wants love.

Oh and by the way, my name also means “gift from God” in African culture. If you take me home with you, I promise to be the gift that keeps on giving – especially all the love I have! Please give me a chance to win you over with my big boy personality by coming in to meet me soon!
