Keep on truckin’ is Kody Florian’s motto. This 18-month-old sweetheart has been through a lot in his young life, yet he has amazingly positive cattitude. He was found in May struggling to survive on the streets, so thin, and with a severely injured front leg. Thanks to generous help from our supporters, Kody was able to get the surgery he desperately needed, had that leg amputated, and is recovering beautifully! Cats are incredibly adaptable, and Kody is a great example of that resilience. Now he’s fully mobile and playful, and although he is shy, he is enjoying pets from our shelter volunteers (we can tell by his sweet purrs) and eager to find a person to love him in a safe and trusting foster or forever home.

When you think about Kody Florian’s beginnings, it’s no wonder he can be shy and a little scared when he first meets people, so we think he would be best with a patient and experienced foster or adopter.
