Three-year-old Kitkat is an engaging tuxedo boy who was found trembling in the hallway of an apartment building, frightened and disoriented, after the person who meant the world to him moved away and left him behind. Once he settled in to his foster home, he soon showed himself to be a talkative little guy who's a mix of friendliness and independence. He enjoys playing with his human companions, and seems to enjoy the company of the other cats even more. He's not so much a lap cat as he is a hang-around-with-you cat. While he has not been observed with kids, we think he'd do well in a home with respectful kids who understand how to treat cats well.

He has been:
- neutered
- vaccinated
- tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. He is being fostered in Brighton.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. For the safety of all concerned during the pandemic, meetings are virtual; fosters are supplying short video clips of the cats to potential adopters and/or connecting via video chat, and adopters are making their adoption decisions based on that. This has streamlined and improved the adoption process.
