Kini (FIV+), born approximately 3/28/20, is the most polite and sweetest girl to join your family.

Kini is a smart girl saved wandering a strip club parking lot! She is very cautious at first, but trusting and eager to make friends and be loved! Unfortunately she has tested positive for FIV (immune system is weakened), so her only kitty friend has been another positive kitty. Kini has never been ill or unhealthy since saved as a young teen kitten, even when other kittens around her had colds before she was tested! She is a strong girl not ever showing signs of compromise at all and FIV+ cats are known to have normal long healthy lives as long as regular vet checkups and regular parasite protection!

Kini loves to meet people after observing they are friendly to her! Once you have her trust, she wants to follow you everywhere and entice you to play with toys! If ignored, she will lightly grab your pants or hands or jean pockets with front paws, as she thinks they are hands and uses them alot! In fact, if sleeping with you, she prefers to hold your fingers or hand while sleeping next to you, but not on top of you!

Eager to please humans, she tries to stay out of the way but included, and longing to be part of the fun. Would probably bond with a nice small dog as long as pup liked her too! Since she has been quarantined due to her condition only contagious to other cats through a deep bite (and she doesn’t bite, even when wrestling) as oxygen kills the transfer, she craves companionship and playmates.

Kini is a perfect furbaby! Not destructive but likes to scratch on allowed cat tree post. Allows to have nails clipped and tolerates being held, but is a busy kitty and wants down to play after a bit! Gives kisses on hands and meows very quietly and calmly, this girl is purrrrfect to grow up in a calm household with your child or as a companion to your parents as doesn’t swat or scratch on purpose or nip! She does like to rub up on legs so may be an issue around those with mobility issues, but will learn fast not to do it if pushed away!
