Meet Kiera

Kiera is a 1-year-old Russian Blue looking for her forever home!

Kiera is a very smart and sweet girl. She's full of energy and likes to play with the cat-wand and small objects stuffed with catnip. She likes to run the length of the house and up and down the stairs.

She sleeps, it seems, most of the day in the living room on a chair or in her bed - away from the more active part of the house. She likes to look out doors and windows at the wildlife and meow at all the critters.

She is currently living in a home with her foster, who is away often, so her life is pretty quiet. She may do best with another kitty that matches her age and energy level to play with.

Kiera may take a little bit to warm up to her new humans. When she first arrived, she would jump and run at the slightest noise. She would not let her foster, or anyone, touch her. She pretty much hid the first couple of days. It has taken her nearly 5 weeks to get to the snuggling point, but it is worth it because now she is playful and affectionate!

Her foster family should know that because she is shy at first, it's unlikely that she'll be affectionate, friendly, and easy-going right away - it may take a few weeks. Also, men don't seem to be her favorites - she tends to run at their voices.

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
