Khee's Story
Khee was deemed "feral" by my local shelter. She was eartipped and destined to be put back outside where she was found. However, she was found to have scabies and they trated her. How often can you say that a parasite saved your life? Because it saved Khee's. While she was in treatment for scabbies (she's parasite free now), I saw her on the shelter website and told them I'd take her.

The first night Khee was home, she let me pet on her and was purring. Khee is a little skittish especially if you are approaching her instead of letting her come to you. This is probably due to a lack of socialization and her rough start to life. However, she is a complete love bug. She curls up in my lap and just purrs away. She has all the makings of a seal point diva.

Khee ignores my other cats and the dog. She loves to eat. She has a cute little circle dance she does when I go to feed her. She eats well but probably needs to be watched because she'll eat anything in front of her.

Khee is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and ready to be part of your home. Due to her being a bit skittish, she should go to an adult home or at least one with older children who know how to read her body language. We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adotpion have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration. To apply to adopt, please visit our website www.fcocinc.org and click "Adopt" under the cat you're interested in.
