Meet Kermit
Kermit was part of a litter of kittens born at the end of 2023 and while their caretaker provided food, the cats struggled to find adequate shelter through the cold winter. As young kittens, he and his litter mates were most affected by the frigid weather conditions.
Kermit was not well when rescued at 10 months old, and he only weighed 4 lbs! In addition, he was exhibiting some balance issues. He was kept for evaluation, and with time and antibiotics, his health improved. It was with minimal effort he evolved into a confident, expressive and loving cat who likes human attention and other cats.
He exhibits some very minor CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) (wobbly kitten) type mannerisms which don't affect his quality of life, and instead make him even more endearing. He also seems to have hearing loss or deafness. But he's not letting anything hold him back! He would be a great companion to another young cat.
