Meet Kenny

Kenny is a sweet loving boy who was found with a collar and leash on running around loose in NC and then saved from euthanasia September 2024. He is very affectionate, brave, curious, playful boy. Kenny had a biopsy done on a mass that was found on his right front leg and unfortunately it appeared to be a moderately aggressive soft tissue sarcoma tumor. These are locally invasive and tend to aggressively reoccur without complete initial removal. For this reason, the doctor recommended amputation of the leg to ensure we get it all the first time. On February 6, 2025, Kenny had his leg amputation surgery and he has recovered very well. He is now searching for his forever home.
