Hello – my name is Katie! I grew up and enjoyed a good life with the same family for 12 years until their life circumstances required them to change locations and they couldn’t take me with them. I’ve had changes in my life, and I have adapted fairly well including to this new change with new caretakers so I’m sure I’d be able to adapt to your household. I have been around a small dog before, but I’m not sure how well I would do with others. A home with young children wouldn’t be a good match. I love having attention when you are sitting down and we can snuggle a bit – not a fan of being held or carried. I won’t cause any puncture marks with my front paws since I’m declawed. I enjoy a brushing now and then while you admire my beautiful tabby markings! I will chat with you – especially when you need to be notified that my food is out. My ideal new furever home will be a quiet home with someone who can give an older gal like me lots of affection and love! Will that be with you?
