Meet KARL **Adoption Pending**
AGE: 8 - 9 months (as of 01/13/21)
DESCRIPTION: DSH - Black & White Tuxedo (Polydactyl)
LOCATION: Foster Home
MY STORY:
Karl, his brother Tully, and his mom were all part of a larger colony of strays that banded together before a kind citizen in the community reached out to a rescue for help for the kitties. That rescue would only agree to take the mama and her small kittens since kittens are the easiest to find homes for and just left these two teens and their mom to continue fending for themselves in the middle of winter. The kind citizen didn't think that was right and continued searching for a rescue that would agree to help them and fortunately, they got in touch with us.
Karl and Tully had their lives flipped around when they came to the shelter, were neutered and went to a foster home all in the span of a few hours. Even though this would be a wild experience for anyone, it didn't take long for their purrsonalities to shine though! Karl is very energetic and will run through the house playing as long as you'll play with him. He's vocal when he wants attention, food, or just his brother to notice him. He absolutely loves being petted and will rub against you and purr nonstop. Karl can get a bit overstimulated at times but he is good about giving you a few warning kisses before he nibbles at your finger. Catnip and wands are the way to his heart and he will go crazy with a catnip-filled toy, especially if it's his favorite, Rudy the Red Robin....and if you play with the wand he will likely play with you until either you give up or the wand breaks! His energy is only matched by his want for love and a safe space. He's still a bit jumpy and leery of loud noises and humans walking, but with love and patience to settle in, he will make an excellent companion. Karl rocks his medium length black and white coat and some huge paws! He's a polydactyl and has extra toes on all 4 paws.
MORE DETAILS:
