Kami's Story

Kami is a neutered male, about four years old, who took up residence for two weeks in a family's garage. They fed him and kept him safe, while they looked for his people to no avail. We were contacted to take him in and find a better life for him than hiding from their dogs and living in the garage. Other than the common parasites (since treated), this handsome and unbelievably sweet boy was given a purrfect bill of health by Dr. Pierce. He allowed our vet and vet techs to handle him, draw blood and trimn his claws without so much as a whimper! We named him Kami, which means "wanderer." Kami will tolerate the other cats if they give him a wide berth. He has shown no interest in our 70-lb, cat-loving dog. He should be in a home without children. Kami is a LARGE boy in all ways. He has a huge purrsonality, and he knows what he wants and what he doesn't want, and he will not hesitate to let you know in no uncertain terms! He really is a gentle sweetheart tho.

If you are interested in meeting Kami, please fill out an application by clicking MORE ABOUT US (below), then click on ADOPTION APPLICATION. Please be sure to COMPLETE the application, providing all requested information. When your application is processed, we will contact you to schedule a visit.
