Kaiya Calico Sewell, NJ

Kaiya is a two year old calico, DSH spayed female. She was found as a kitten on the side of the road with a jaw fracture and some abrasions. After being seen by a vet it was deemed her jaw was already starting to heal and she stayed with her rescuers while she got better. They tried to make it work out to keep her but with a senior cat who does not like her playful ways and one of their dogs not being safe around cats, Kaiya spends most of her time in a bedroom to keep everyone safe. This sweet girl is so lonely and deserves a home where she gets lots of freedom, attention and playtime. Kaiya can take a bit of time to warm up to new situations but is sweet and playful once she feels safe. She has lived with a two year old child for the past 7 months and also one large dog who was cat safe with whom she is social. We do think Kaiya would do better in a home with older children or adults only. She no longer has any problems with her jaw, except for her tongue occasionally sticking out a bit, which just makes her more adorable! Kaiya is availabile from foster.
