Jupiter's Story

Handsome Jupiter needs a very special adopter. This sweet guy is very stressed - and only wants to be near someone on his terms. Once he is comfortable with a person, he allows pets for brief periods of time, especially when offered a licky treats. This poor guy thought he had found his forever home earlier this year, but was returned after a few months. After taking some time to adjust, he followed his owner around and liked spending time near her. He would be vocal to let her know when he wanted to eat. Jupiter initially came from a home with multiple cats. He was in need of medical care and had most of his teeth removed by our clinic. He is polydactyl - meaning he has extra toes on his front paws. He would do best in a quiet home. Jupiter is FIV + - which means that his immune system is weaker than the average cat - and he can still live a long, full life.

More information about FIV can be found at this link: https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier.
