Juniper Domestic Short Hair St Augustine, FL

Hi, my name is Juniper, and I am a shorthaired, female bicolor tabby cat. I was born on 4/2/2021. I was found as a kitten with 2 other littler mates. I came into my foster's home feeling pretty good. A month later, I developed a middle ear infection, and it was not detected right away and became diseased which means it damaged my hearing and affected a few of my nerves that help me stay balanced. Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue funded many surgeries and procedures to clear my infections, remove polyps caused by my disease. I have just been cleared to go back to Frisky Cat Cafe to be adopted. I have a lot of fun with the other cats at the cafe. None of them know that I cannot hear very well - they do not even know because I can smell and see much better than them! So, I am a ok!

Here is what my foster mom says about me - "Juniper, fondly known as June Bug has been with our family for many months. She is playful and energetic. Juniper is not able to hear but gets around fine and has many friends. Juniper is classified as special needs due to her vestibular nerve damage cause from the inner ear infection that cause her to have a head tilt and a slight head swaying motion. She may experience vertigo, dizziness or balance problems when picked up or travels. She still plays like a normal cat and is extremely talkative. To get her attention, we usually pat the ground near her. She is pretty in tune with us and can communicate extremely well. She is a very sweet-tempered cat. Her only issue seems to be balance and head tilt. But she easily climbs, jumps, bats her toys, and chases feather wands. She knows how to get out attention by going to a smaller room or hall that has an echo - she then meows very loudly letting you know she is in need of attention or food."
