Julius Domestic Short Hair Mix Cincinnati, OH

Julius (short for Orange Julius) is one of STAF’s incredibly handsome orange tabby cats. He came to us by way of Ault Park, where sadly he was found running around half starving. We think someone dumped him there and he had been fending for himself for quite a while. Thankfully, a volunteer was able to lure him with food and bring him to STAF. Everyday Julius expresses how grateful he is to have escaped the peril of the woods to experience the loving care of our volunteers.

Julius is a fun guy—alternately playful and loving. When you enter his room at STAF he loves to follow you all around to see what you are doing and earn your affection. Like many cats abandoned to survive outdoors, Julius tests positive for FIV, the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. He also has a manageable health condition that requires monitoring. If you’re vigilant with checkups for your pets and sensitive to their health, Julius would be the bright spot in your day.

All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision.
