Julia is approx 3yrs old, spayed female. Julia came in with another mom cat and several kittens, as they were under a house, we were not sure which kittens belonged to who and the kittens were similar in age. Julia arrived 2nd with the rest of the litter, she was open mouth breathing, very panicked and so scared. She wanted nothing to do with the kittens. The other mother took on all 8. It took Julia a few days and she began to calm down, we got 4 little kittens in that were 10 days old and Julia began to panic about getting to them, we let her smell one and she began cleaning her right away, she then took on the other three. Without Julia's help nursing them they may not have made it as they were underweight. Julia has not been interested in getting affection, we are working with her, but now believe she may have been a feral who they managed to catch.
Julia loves to be out on our catio, she is not very interested in getting petted, she likes being by herself and loves to be up high.
