Meet Josephine

Josephine came to WPFC as a transfer from a local shelter when she needed additional medical care. She had severe dental disease and a broken elbow. unfortunately we were unable to treat her broken elbow and she needed to get her leg amputated. She is all healed up, but during her leg amputation it was discovered she has cancer (hopefully localized to the removed leg). We are working with a veterinary oncologist to stage her cancer.

Josephine is an 8 year old female cat. She is friendly but reserved, enjoying quiet time with her people and lots of head and chin scratches. Josephine would do best in a quiet home with adults only (we are unsure how she is with other cats or dogs). She is spayed, had a recent dental cleaning, microchipped, fecal tested, FELV/FIV tested. She is currently going through her vaccines and will be fully vaccinated by the time she is ready for adoption. Josephine has also had a recent exam with our veterinarian and blood work showing she is a healthy 8 year old lady with a lot of love left to give.
