Meet Jorie

Jorie is a 2-year-old spayed female that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 07/07/18. She has beautiful light gold/green eyes and a white coat with brown tabby markings on her head and tail - much like that of a Turkish Van. Jorie has been having a difficult time in finding the perfect forever home as she doesn't want to share your love with other cats. She knows what she wants, and prefers to be the only feline princess in your household. She loves attention, but wants to be petted and scratched while by your side rather than in your arms. She is a calm and independent kind of lady with a VERY playful side if there is a wand-toy around that happens to have a human attached to the other end. Jori is not one to chase laser light dots, but loves anything that dangles from above or is small enough for her to bat around on the floor. A generous donor has sponsored a part or all of Jorie's adoption fee. Ask a staff member about her sponsorship or how you can sponsor a pet when you visit. A quiet household with a loving owner for her to bond with forever would be perfect for this lovely lady!

We want to alert you that some communities, landlords, management companies, and insurance agencies have size and breed restrictions, limits on number of pets, and/or require pet deposits or additional fees. Before adopting, we encourage all adopters to know what restrictions may apply to you.
