Joni is the sweetest girl that will require a special family. She came into our care a few months ago with an extensive wound on her neck. Something had attacked her at the front of her throat, leaving a large, gaping hole. By the time she was rescued, it was already infected. Thankfully, our veterinarian was able to clean the wound and it has healed beautifully!! Unfortunately, blood work then, and again last week showed that Joni is positive for FIV. This is in no way a death sentence. It just means her health will need to be monitored closely and treated early at the insight of any illness. FIV cats can live with non FIV cats as long as there is not fighting that would result in bites that draw blood.

Joni is absolutely the most loving kitten. She enjoys snuggles, playing with toys and her food! She has been raised in a foster home as an only kitten so a family with or without other cats is suitable. You won’t find a sweeter kitten anywhere. Joni deserves a chance at the best life just like all of our other kittens.

She is 5 months old and fully vetted. Please consider opening your heart and home to this precious girl. Don’t let a harmless diagnosis stand in your way of adopting the love of your life.
