Johnny's Story

Meet one of the Little Schitts, Johnny!

Johnny is a super confident, social, active boy! He will run to greet you when you enter the room and insist on being picked up and cuddled and kissed. He LOVES people and is not scared of anything. Johnny is one of five kittens all named for characters in the show Schitt's Creek. (His siblings are Alexis, David, Moira, and Patrick.) Johnny is clearly the leader of this litter of five!

This handsome little guy is the most loving kitten his foster has ever met. The term aggressively affectionate has actually been used to describe Johnny. He wants to be up by your face, preferably right around your neck. Johnny wants to be friends with everyone, feline and human alike. He will literally leap into your arms so that you can kiss and cuddle him. Also, he seems to have a bit of an Oedipus complex and loves nothing more than suckling on your shirt right up by your face... Cute? Endearing? Odd? Your call.

Johnny's favorite things to play with include wand toys, boxes, and almost anything that he finds that seems the least bit interesting. He is especially fond of playing with all of his siblings and his foster's resident male cat. Johnny LOVES his brother, David, and they can often be found cuddled up with their legs around each other's necks.

Almost any type of home would be great for in-your-face Johnny. He has not been overly fond of children when he has met them, and he hasn't really been exposed to dogs. Living in a household with either kids or dogs would no doubt require a period of introduction and adjustment for Johnny. He would love, love, love to be adopted with his favorite brother, David, and they would both probably be great with another resident cat looking for a couple of new friends.

If you want a cat that will snuggle with you whenever you sit down, Johnny is your guy! Apply to adopt him (and David?) today!

Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)

View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)

Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)

Forever Fortunate Felines's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster-based, we really understand our cat's personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here: https://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier that opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: http://foreverfortunatefelines.org/adoption-fees/ We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy! Everything from the application to payment, to the contract is online. Additionally, all of the cat's records will be placed in your free Pet lovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
