Meet John and Winston

Big Hearts with a Shy Spirit

Meet John and Winston.

John and Winston are 19 weeks old, weighing in a little over 4 lbs, while John is an orange tabby, Winston is a cream tabby, they're both DSH.

John and Winston came into foster with me on November 7th so that I could help socialize them and get them ready for adoption.

Although I have spent countless hours teaching them that humans are okay, they are still a bit timid. This is okay because they have come a long way since November 7th. (1 month)

Neither John or Winston cares to be handled at this time, however they do not hide, they are out with the family exploring their surroundings and their always interested in what’s going on. (once they get comfortable)

John and Winston are very bonded. You can normally find them both cuddled together in a cat tree or a cat bed.

John and Winston are also very playful and very active. They are typical normal kittens that are just a little more timid than most.

They love their tunnels, their flying toys, balls, catnip toys, staring out the windows and watching the squirrels and birds.

John and Winston have been fully raised in a home with dogs and other cats which they do not mind. However, keep in mind my dogs have been raised and trained not to chase and they are cool with that.

John and Winston would do best in a home with patience’s. They need time to grow and trust the family they are living with.

They would be right for any family in any home with cats or well-mannered dogs.

Did I mention that John and Winston are very FOOD MOTIVATED and with Churu cat treats, they will lick it right off your fingers. This is where I’ve gotten them to trust me most.

JOHN AND WINSTON ALSO LOOK FORWARD TO THEIR FANCY FEAST BREAKFAST (WET FOOD OF COURSE) THEY FREE-FEED ALL DAY!

As a foster that socializes many kittens, I have found it best, once I get them to a certain point, it’s better to have them adopted out with their forever family so they don’t only trust us fosters. This can become a problem and only hold them back from adoption the older they get.

Do you think you have a HEART big enough to bring these boys Home for the HOLIDAYS.

During the month of December, heart is offering $20 off all feline adoptions.

HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
