Jinxy Domestic Long Hair Mokena, IL

Meet beautiful little Jinxy - she is need of some love and a bit of luck. Jinxy is a petite 8 year old long-haired girl that has unfortunately been on quite an adventure trying to find the right home. She was originally relinquished by her owner after being bullied by another cat in the home. She came to NAWS and was very nervous in her new surroundings. Jinxy was adopted but returned rather quickly to us because she was hiding in her new home. Jinxy just needed someone to be patient with her, and at this point, she deserves to find a safe, stable FOREVER home.

Jinxy is timid in new situations, but if you are patient with her, she will show her lovable and sweet personality. She likes attention and gentle pets when she feels safe and gets to know someone. She will purr and show her appreciation for the attention. Jinxy needs a compassionate and understanding owner that will give her time to acclimate to a new home. She is nervous around other cats and would prefer to be someone’s “one and only.” In a quiet home, with gentle attention, she will be a wonderful companion.
