Jinx and Midnight are 4-year-old, extremely lovable boys looking for their forever home!

Jinx and Midnight were very nervous when they first arrived at our home but quickly got comfortable! Jinx (gray) is spunky and vocal. He loves to cuddle and will make sure you know when it's time for breakfast or pets. His curious tendencies led him to counter-surf at first, but he stopped once he realized there was nothing fun up there. Once he’s comfortable, he’ll sweetly snuggle up on your chest when you’re lounging in bed and will nuzzle his face up to yours for head kisses.

Midnight (black) is more independent but still loves to be near you. He initiates affection by standing in your general direction and waiting to receive head pets and chin scratches. He rarely makes noise, and is sometimes so quiet that he walks right under your feet without you knowing! He makes little chirping noises instead of meowing. Midnight is also the most hydrated cat you will ever meet. You’ll often find him by his water bowl with little water dribbles on his chin - so cute!

Jinx and Midnight mostly lounge and cat nap during the day whether that’s on the couch, bed, or floor. They love to snuggle and groom each other. They also love when their fosters initiate play! Jinx is very active and loves chasing mysterious red dots, the reflection of light from phone screens (even when it’s on the ceiling), and feather wands. Midnight is active when he wants to be. His favorite toys are a catnip spider and the ball tower, as well as the feather wand. They also occasionally get the zoomies and chase each other around - it is the most entertaining thing to watch.

These boys would thrive in a moderately calm home where they can chill during the day, play every once in a while, and spend time with their owners while they wind down for the night. They are pretty independent cats but become more affectionate as they trust you. They are not huge fans of new people or sudden movements, and will need a safe space to hide from strangers – their favorite hiding spots are under the bed or in a cabinet. With a little patience, a few days to decompress, and lots of Churu wet treats, they will warm up very quickly!

Their ideal home would be one where there’s lots of action that they can watch out the window, whether that be cars or birds. They’re so curious about what’s happening outside! They currently live with two humans in a 2-bedroom apartment. They would do well in any type of residence as long as there’s room for 2-3 litterboxes and room for them to play and wrestle around.

Based on their past experiences and anxious tendencies, they need a relatively calm household and would not do well with dogs or young children. We aren’t sure if they’ve been around other cats. It is ideal if their owner has experience with cats and/or has the patience to respect their boundaries and give them time to settle in.

They are funny, playful boys who are truly the sweetest cats once they have gotten comfortable in their new space!

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
