Meet Jewel
My Story
Jewel is a sweet kitty around 9-10 months old. She is a petite female with short soft hair and beautiful orange coloring. Jewel is fairly quiet and cautious initially, and needs to feel safe before she snuggles in beside someone. She loves playing and still has kitten energy, and runs to meet her foster mom to get treats and attention.
Jewel likes pets, quietly sitting with someone working from home or sharing a Netflix show. She enjoys looking out windows and is particularly fond of a cat tree where she can enjoy a view of all that's going on.
She was spotted by rescuers with a broken leg and in desperate need of medical help. She has travelled halfway around the world from Qatar to Virginia to find a forever family.
Now beautiful, healthy, and ready to be invited home, she will need time to acclimate to family life, patience and understanding until she bonds with their forever people. Fostered in Burke, Va.
