She and her brother were rescued from a local VW dealership, so they proudly carry their names from iconic VW models—Jetta and Scirocco!<br/><br/>Jetta loves to play, explore, and spend time with her brother Scirocco, a handsome Russian Blue mix. The pair has come a long way—from scared little kittens to affectionate, trusting companions who love attention and offer big, happy purrs.<br/><br/>They are also wonderful desk buddies! Jetta and Scirocco will curl up on a blanket beside you while you work, gently asking for pets—especially Scirocco, who loves to be doted on.<br/><br/>Jetta is just a tiny bit shy and would likely do well in a quieter home, as loud noises can startle her. After surviving outdoors for months, she’s naturally cautious, but she warms up beautifully with gentle love. We believe she would do well with older, calm children who understand how to move and interact softly.<br/><br/>Jetta would thrive in a home with another friendly cat—especially if she’s adopted with her beloved brother Scirocco. Together, they make a sweet, playful, and affectionate pair who will fill your home with purrs and companionship.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a gentle, loving kitten with a soft heart and gorgeous coat, Jetta is ready to drive right into your heart.<br/><br/>All cats and kittens are vaccinated with FVRCP and Rabies if old and large enough for their vaccinations. All cats are neuter or spayed before final adoption date. All cats are also microchipped!<br/><br/>Our adoption process:<br/>1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt<br/>2) Meet with the cat in their foster home<br/>3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules. <br/><br/>** We are not able to hold cats for a particular family longer than about 7 days, unless the cat is available for pre-adoption which will be noted on their profile. Please wait to apply until you are ready to take a cat home. **<br/><br/>We are a completely foster based nonprofit rescue run by volunteers. We do this work out of love.
