Jesse James's Story

Jesse James is a gorgeous medium-haired white & gray. It has taken him a few months to adjust in his foster home, but he now spends more time visible in the house than hiding under furniture. Jesse is still quite shy when new people arrive. He does not like to be picked up or held. Jesse does enjoying getting some love now, but typically stays arms reach away. He has had no problems living with older kitties & often follows them around, naps & plays well with them. Their foster home now has 3 month old kittens and Jesse has been caught grooming and playing with them. Jesse’s foster believes he would do best with another kitty in the home. The best time to pat Jesse is during & after meals. He loves cat treats, playing with a laser pointer, & yarn rope toys. Jesse needs a very special adopter that will give him plenty of time to adjust. He has not been around dogs but may get along well with a very chill kitty-friendly doggie, if introduced properly. Don't worry if the pet you are interested in gets removed from Petfinder in the meantime, we will move pets to "adoption pending" at times when processing applications. If you have not heard back from Pawsibilities within 72 hours, please feel free to contact us at Calliepawsibilities@gmail.com for an update. ***Please if you have a current or previous vet, list the vet's name and contact number as this will make the process quicker; maybe even call the vet's office to let them know they can provide information to us as many vet clinics need pre-approval from their clients. ***Please provide us with the name the vet records would be under (human name and furry friend) if those names differ from the names on he application. ***If it's a weekend or holiday, you can send copies of your records to us by email at Calliepawsibilities@gmail.com so we don't have to delay the process by waiting for the vet office to open. We do adopt out of state in many circumstances; when this occurs we do prefer our adopters come meet their adoptive furry family member in person. However, we do transport to other states as well and the adopter covers any transport charges. ***We are a foster-based program only so there is no physical facility. ***We do prefer to have an application on file before setting up Meet and Greets.
