Jesse is a 1.5-year-old polydactyl, blue-eyed, energetic kitty looking for his forever home!

Jesse is a busy boy and enjoys being active. He will come over to you for attention but is not a 'lap cat,' preferring to play games with you instead. He loves toys and interactive wand/fishing pole toys that he can play with you. He really needs to have a cat-friendly dog buddy to ‘make biscuits’ on, play, and snooze with.

Having part of his kibble in a toy puzzle is something he also enjoys. He’ll roll it around endlessly to get the last piece to come out. Food puzzles that have hollows and pegs to ‘dig’ pieces out are not good for him since his paws are big because he has extra toes.

He thoroughly enjoys bird feeders because they allow him to watch the birds and other wildlife outside the window.

Jesse is fed twice a day (wet and dry). He likes a ‘treat ball’ and it is a useful distraction when you need to leave the house as he finds an open door pretty hard to resist. When he hears you coming back, he will be right there at the door talking loudly to you. If you aren’t speedy enough with getting inside, he'll throw himself on the inside of the door (and slide down it) to ‘hurry’ you along.

Jesse is also fascinated by leashes and phone cords hanging on a hook/wall. He will jump up and throw himself at it so he can get it ‘swinging’.

Jesse loves people who will talk and play with him and give him lots of attention. But finding the ‘right’ dog is high on his list of what makes a good home. He'd love a dog friend who will interact, wrestle, and play games of chase with him.

Jesse would do best in an adult home. (When he is wound up, he will nip at fingers). If you live in a two-story or split level, he would love to run up and down the stairs, chasing you or toys you lob down for him.

Jesse likes people he knows but is initially shy when meeting new folks. He is very sociable once he knows you but will need to be started in a room where you can visit him for periods of time as he learns about you and his new home.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
