Jenga's Story

Hi, my name is Jenga! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Shy, playful, independent, still learning to trust!
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, would be the most happy in a home with another cat or kitten.
-Can Live with Dogs: Hasn't met dogs before, but may do well with a respectful dog.
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, great with kids.
-History of Litter Box Issues: None while here at shelter
-Requires Indoor Only: Yes
-Two Kitten Policy: OK to go home solo since 6 months old, but strongly encouraged to have a feline friend or intending to get a 2nd cat at some point for her, as she's still very young and social
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, spay at WHS
-Additional Information:
Jenga and her siblings came to the shelter as a litter of stray kittens. They went to a foster home where they were well socialized and desensitized to handling. They are still a little bit shy in the shelter environment, but are very sweet once you gain their trust. Though not required, Jenga would love to be adopted with one of her siblings - they're most confident when they're together.

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
