Meet Jelly Bean

A volunteer writes:
Jelly Bean is a delightful 10-year-old grey tabby abandoned in a hallway when her owner moved away, leaving her and young friend Mango Boba behind.Poor Jelly Bean arrived at the shelter battling a cold with painful mouth and nose sores that left her with little appetite. But thanks to excellent medical care, this resilient girl is now on the mend and ready for her fresh start.
Now that she's feeling better, Jelly Bean's true personality is shining through! She's social, curious, and incredibly affectionate, determined to be your best friend while also hoping to explore every corner of her surroundings with lively enthusiasm. Well-mannered and sweet-natured, this charming lady has clearly been loved before and knows exactly how to be a devoted companion.
Jelly Bean has already proven she's a fighter with plenty of love left to give. This lovely senior deserves a forever home where she'll never be left behind again and she promises to fill it with purrs, head-bunts, and loyal companionship for many years to come.

Jelly Bean is sitting on top of her den upon approach, meowing and jumping down from the den to come to the front of the kennel to greet the assessor as they approach, head bunting and rubbing her body against the kennel door. As the door is opened, she head bunts the assessor's hands, occasionally craning her neck to look around the room and listen to noises occurring around her. She allows and leans into all petting and places her two front paws on the assessor's chest, attempting to climb on them. She is tolerant of being readjusted back into the kennel. Jelly Bean is able to be easily picked up and remains calm when held, making biscuits. She continues to remain calm when put back down and solicits attention by meowing softly and continuing to head bunt.

Jelly Bean interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
