Jazi - Meet me at Pet Supplies Plus's Story

Jazi, a torbie, came to her foster home in August 2024 with her sisters (who have been adopted) during TNR at a colony in Millerstown. Initially, these girls (estimated to have been born in early July 2024) were not healthy and had a long quarantine period during a time in their development when human interaction is critical for socialization. When she cleared quarantine, Jazi, unfortunately, took a step backward in that she would rather spend her time with other cats than be entertainment and companionship for people.

Her foster mom has continued to work on socializing Jazi, but she really needs a forever family that can spend more time with her than what her foster mom is able to give. She has so much potential! As you can see in the video and pictures, Jazi really enjoys being petted on her terms. If she's not interested, Jazi evades the petting attempts.

Jazi has seen many kittens move through her foster home and has gotten along with all of them, after a short adjustment period. She will even share her food bowl. But don't get in her way while she's waiting for the food preparer to finish preparing her food or she'll tell you about it!

She likes to play with various toys and enjoys napping solo or beside other kitties.

What does Jazi require in her forever home? First and foremost, she requires patient adopters who are willing to go very slowly with her acclimation and even more slowly with earning her trust. She can be adopted as an only kitty or have an easy-going kitty friend or two (probably not three+, though) whom she can use for support, both the emotional kind and the physical kind (for naps). She is fostered with multiple dogs and would do fine living with a doggy friend. Children will need to be at least 12 years old, well-mannered, and patient around Jazi.

Jazi has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies and FVRCP vaccines, tested negative for FeLV/FIV/heartworm, and is litterbox trained.

All she needs now is the right home with the right people to let her torbie to her torbie-est delight!

Jazi moved into Pet Supplies Plus in Lemoyne, Pa., on Sept. 27. Go see and fall in love with her at the store.

Questions?
