Meet Jaws and Wendy! These best friends are looking for a loving home together where they can thrive.

Jaws is approximately 5 years old who loves squeeze up treats, sunny spots, and bird watching. He joined Ten Lives after a Good Samaritan contacted Ten Lives about an injured cat. After being humanely trapped, we discovered that Jaws had an old jaw injury that had healed. After consulting with our partner veterinarian and a dental specialist, it was determined that trying to repair the healed injury would cause more harm than good. Jaws is not in pain and eats perfectly fine, he just has a unique smile! Due to Jaws' time outside he has tested FIV positive. He is currently healthy and thriving, but will need yearly vet visits.

11 month old Wendy loves chasing toys, zooming around the house, bird watching, and snuggling with her foster mom. Wendy joined her foster home to help Jaws with the hope that she would help Jaws gain confidence. They hit it off wonderfully and quickly became best friends! Wendy has helped Jaws blossom into a playful feline who gets more confident every day. Their foster mom frequently finds them napping together around the house!

Jaws and Wendy are looking for a patient adopter who will give Jaws the time and support he needs to thrive. His sidekick, Wendy, will be right there to show him the ropes! If this might be you, please submit our adoption app.

ABOUT TEN LIVES:

Ten Lives is a foster-based program and does NOT have a brick and mortar facility with regular visiting hours. We are a 100% volunteer-powered organization and require an approved adoption application prior to scheduling meet and greets with animals. This is out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, as well as helping to ensure our animals are matched to the homes that best meet their needs.

We require that all applicants have a satisfactory veterinary reference and provide proof of homeownership OR landlords approval. We will contact all applicants who meet our minimum requirements within 96business hours of receiving your application.During kitten season wait times may be longer. We ask for your patience as we are all volunteers!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed/neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
