Meet Jasmine!

This sweet 10-month-old kitten’s favorite way to show her big heart is by shimmying her cute self all over her favorite people. She loves to rub against your shins, rub her cheeks against you, and if you put your hand out she’ll just rub her whole self against it! She loves to be petted on the face, and unlike a lot of cats, Jasmine enjoys being petted all the way from her head to her tail.

One unique thing about this cutie is that Jasmine is a “wobble cat”—she was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, sometimes called wobbly cat syndrome, a developmental condition that makes her, well, wobbly! CH is not contagious or painful, and won’t progress over her lifetime. It just makes her that much cuter and more special.

Jasmine’s CH and accompanying ataxia (uncoordination) is mild and doesn’t require any special vet care. She gets around the house well but will need to be indoor-only for her safety. She would be okay with a respectful doggie sibling, and seems pretty indifferent to other cats—doesn’t mind them or really care one way or the other—so we think she would do well as either a solo kitty or with other cats in the household. She is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations.
Jasmine is growing up as beautiful as her flower namesake: She has strikingly lovely eyes, and we’re just obsessed with the perfect black dot on her orange-and-white nose!
