Meet Jasmine

Please fill out the application now if you are interested as we are still closed to the public and doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

Jasmine is a sweet senior girl that was born in May 2008 and weighs just under 7 pounds. She is also front paw declawed. Her owner surrendered her as a senior after she moved in with family that would not allow the cat in the home. Jasmine did not adapt well at the shelter. We initially had her as our lobby cat so we could monitor her diet, but she hid a lot from the dogs and lost a lot of weight. Fortunately, we sent her into a wonderful foster home where she could relax and feel comfortable again.

Jasmine is a special needs girl with some gastrointestinal needs. She is prone to bladder stones and is currently eating Hill’s Prescription Diet C/D both dry and wet food per our veterinarian’s instructions. She also has stress colitis, meaning she needs to be in a home without any other pets and with minimal change to reduce any issues with stress, which would result in loose stool. She is currently living in a foster home without any other pets and is responding great to this treatment. She is calm, cuddly, and friendly. When Jasmine is comfortable, she feels like the queen of the home. She’ll take every second she can to cuddle and loves to be around her person. She’s a great working-from-home (WFH) companion and doesn’t mind taking up your lap while you work on the computer. Jasmine is comfortable in her foster home, but she is in desperate need of a forever home where she can finally settle down and be stress-free.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $25 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
