Meet Jarnathan
Meet Jarnathan, aka Jar Jar Binks, aka Baby Jar Jar! He'll answer to anything if you're giving him chin scratches or wet food. Jar Jar was rescued by Fishtails from ACCT after his owner surrendered him. Luckily our awesome foster Shannon opened her home to give him a second chance of love!
Baby Jar Jar here needed a little time to settle in with his foster after the stress of leaving his old home and being moved to the unfamiliar environment at ACCT, plus recovering from an upper respiratory infection. He was hissy for a few days but by day two he was asking for pets and soon after he revealed himself to be a big snuggler. He is healed, healthy, and ready for his forever home!
From his foster:
"He likes to sniff your hand first then wants his chin, neck and head scratched. That is his favorite and he purrs the whole time. He tolerates back and tails pets. Jarnathan is an absolute cuddle bug and will immediately snuggle when I sit with him. He also lets me pick him up and says when he wants to get down. He is vocal about his wet food and he will swat (without claws) to tell you he wants more. He has not shown much interest in most of the toys so far but he really enjoys a laser toy and will play with that. He really is a sweetheart who just loves wet food and snuggles."
Jar jar has been polite in his interactions with other cats and dogs. He will need a family that will be patient and give him his space as he adjusts to a new environment. Once he feels safe, he will reward you with snuggles and purrs for all of his days!
