Meet Janet
PLEASE READ ENTIRE BIO.
6 months old; female
Spayed, vaccinated, FiV/FeLv negative, microchipped
Requires medical follow up in 6 months
Requires a diet of wet food only.
Janet was rescued by Charlie’s Army in November 2020, along with her five siblings (The Jackson 6). In January 2021, Janet was found lethargic and crouch walking two days after her spay surgery, and she was rushed to Penn Vet where she received emergency care to save her life. Our best guess is that Janet suffered an acute kidney injury during her surgery, that she has now recovered from.
Fast forward three months, Janet is a happy and healthy six-month-old angel of a kitten. She is a joy to be around and has come a long way since she arrived in her foster home as a teeny tiny 6 week old. Throughout all of her vet appointments, medical care, and coming back home from Penn after all of her siblings had been adopted, Janet has been nothing but sweet, cooperative, and forgiving of everything she has been through.
Janet adores people, cats, and especially dogs. She lives with two dogs in her foster home and will play wrestle with them and doesn’t even mind being chased a little. She is absolutely fearless and very confident. She is excellent at playing fetch with mice and will even bring them all the way back to you. After a good round of that, she is ready to cuddle up in your lap purring, or sit in her window seat watching the neighborhood commotion. Janet would love a home with animal companions of any kind and humans that will shower her with the love and attention she deserves. Janet is a very special little kitten, and can’t wait to find her forever home.
