Meet James

James is an approximately 2 -year old, Tuxedo cat that came to our rescue as a small kitten. He was in very bad shape as his mom was from a feral colony. Due to James' condition we waited some time before putting him up for adoption at 6 months. Being a bigger boy when he went up for adoption he has not had much interest. Now at 2 he is still looking for his forever home.

James is very playful and loves to be with his person. Although he loves scratches and pets from his person he is not big on being picked up or hugged. He will tolerate it but it's not his favorite. Food and snacks are good favorite things in the whole wide world....other than feather toys! So he spends his days trying to get his person to play with him or feed him. And he is very vocal about his feelings! He loves to play fetch and has spent most of his life in a home full of dogs but has lived separately as he has had trauma with dogs as a feral kitten. If they don't bother him he generally doesn't bother them.
