Jamaica was an owner surrender from a local animal control
ABOUT:
Jamaica found herself in a local animal control. She was very shy in her cage. With being a senior and feeling pretty scared after losing her home, she wasn’t getting much interest. When we brought her in, she was shy. She found comfort in a little tent, but as the days went on, she started coming out of her shell.
She has quickly won over the hearts of the volunteers. One volunteer described her as, “This little girl is never without an enamored look in her eyes, an everyday Valentine. She gives back tenfold the love she receives.” The thing that shocked and delighted us is her big, deep purr!
Just because she is a senior, 11 years old, don’t think she isn’t active. She is able to climb up the wall units to get a bird’s eye view of her room and kitty friends.
She likes to crawl under blankets on chairs to grab a few ZZZ’s. She is a good eater and fully vetted. She also just had a dental. She co-exists well with the other cats in her room.
